Honeymoon destination

Virginia Beach is lovely!

When are you getting married? Are you looking for beachy or mountain-y or?
Depending on how far you want to drive, there are lots of good options!

I miss the East Coast - where you’re at almost anything on the East Coast is drivable, especially if you’re willing to drive for more than 8 hrs or so to get down to the Southeast . I had friends that drove from NY to Key West!

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is amazing and honestly super romantic. I hate Winter but we went for Christmas and it was so perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I'm originally from Louisiana and I highly recommend New Orleans. It's such a fun, romantic, historic city. They also love newlyweds. Stay at a hotel in the French Quarter. I agree with others, SO many options in lower 48. Also, have you considered AMTRAK? I love to travel via train, very romantic, and you could plan stops along the way. Best wishes!! ❤

We are also traveling to Seattle from Mississippi. Foods great, usually have entertainment. Think you'd have a memorable honeymoon!!

We are flying for our honeymoon but often find ourselves traveling in the US too. Depending on the time of year I would HIGHLY recommend Quebec City and Montreal. It’s not super far and it feels like Europe without the overnight flight. The only con is you would need to get a passport.


Boston, Charleston, Asheville, or San Francisco are also top favorites for us.

Nashville and Memphis are both nice.
