Honeymoon Delay

We are delaying too! Probably about a week.

It is nice to share our marriage bed a few nights following the wedding because that is very meaningful to us . We also want to relax and spend a lot of time cuddling in our bed and relaxing instead of being stressed about the next thing.

This may be TMI lol but we are trying to plan our honeymoon so that my fertile days are during our honeymoon. We have always talked about hope meaningful it would be for us to conceive on our honeymoon. We expect I will be ovulating on his birthday (September 26th), which puts us at 2 weeks after our wedding.

Obviously this is really specific to us, but my point is that it is nice to choose a time that will make you appreciate and enjoy your honeymoon the most. You can do this by asking yourselves what you want to get out of it and what it means to you. If relaxing is a big part of that, I would plan a little further out. If the intensity of "wow just got married!" is super important to you, then maybe just a day or two later.
