I’m on a roll with posting today! Can I get some honest feedback on these? I’m not sold yet, so no feelings will be hurt if they just need to be chucked. I originally was going to do wooden signage, but then saw the acrylic trend and thought I’d see how that looked. Thoughts on these? Colors of the wedding are dark green and gold, with ivory and blush accents. Do I stick with the foil vinyl, or do I go the gold painted route for the words? Scrap it altogether and stick with original plan of dark wood and white words? Just words on the acrylic with no paint behind? FH won’t give input on these, so I’m relying on my WW ladies and gents! Thanks in advance!

I’m not in love with the background. I would do just the words but I’m not the right person since all my signs are acrylic with no background and engraved wording. So I’m bias here lol

Thanks for the feedback, all! I wish I knew more about what my centerpieces/floral arrangements are going to look like to get a full vision. I'll have to update you all on what we decide to do!

It really depends on the vision/venue of your wedding. Where are you having it? What is the vibe you are going for?

We'll be having it at a Victorian mansion in Orange County, CA. The property has been turned into a museum and is surrounded by jasmine trellises, orange groves, and other era buildings. We're looking to do a romantic, vintage, slightly rustic vibe.

I DIY-ed these. Couldn't stomach spending double the money when I knew I could pull off something similar.

I'm planning on doing acrylic signage for our reception only and not ceremony (minus the welcome sign) because they get very pricey. I'm DIYing everything but the signs but I should probably invest in a Cricut....lol

I really love my Cricut. I have the Maker, but as long as you're not planning on cutting sewing patterns or balsawood, you could totally get away with an Explore model for under $200. It's super easy to figure out, and if you could use it after the wedding, it would be a fantastic investment. You may even be able to browse FB marketplace or something similar to see if any used ones are being sold in your area.

Wonderful advice! Thanks! I'm sure I could find use for it after the wedding. I will definitely look into purchasing one. Thanks for the FB marketplace tip!
