Hired our officiant!

My fiancee and I met with and hired our officiant yesterday!! We found him here on WW, and he's the perfect fit for us. My FH really wanted a church wedding though we don't attend services. I wanted to have the service where our reception was since we had the space for 10 hours I thought it made more sense. He finally saw it that way, but only if I agreed to find what he called an "actual" minister and not just someone who can perform a wedding. Rev. Earl is amazing. He's what i'd call a "biker" preacher, funny, charming and sweet. My FH is former navy and I come from a large family of military and Rev. Earl is a Vietnam Vet. He has a long flowing white beard and looks just like Santa. He actually dresses up as Santa every Christmas and goes to visit Vets in the hospital. He does charity rides for kids. He's the best of what Rob and I both wanted. We knew we wanted him before the meeting, we spoke on the phone with him for over an hour. We just needed to meet to sign the papers. I feel like he's an old friend.
