Hiding the bride/Outdoor wedding

Has anyone ever had to hide a bride from her prep area to the isle? I have a good distance between my prep area and the isle. I would like to keep hidden until I get to there. I've seen on pinterest a diy PVC pipe and sheet cover but I would need someone to carry it as I walk and really don't like...

    More opportunity for people to see you and take in your moment. The longer walk may be a benefit to you.

    How long did you rent your venue? I ran into the same issue, but we are going the reclaimed door route. We rented the space for 2 days so it won't be as much of a problem to get everything set up without it being too big of a monster.

    @celia I agree.

    @HeavenM. The only date they had available was on a Sunday. As this was our last option and dream venue we took it. Changed the date and everything, but the package is for that Sunday only. From 11-9 only. (newly weds get the honeymoon cabin untill 11 the next morning). I will have 2.5 hours to decorate, after a previous post and opinions, I am seriously thinking of a DOC to help!

    I would have had a similar issue had I had my ceremony outside as planned, because I would be coming out like to the side of the ceremony space, so everyone would have definitely seen me if they just turned their head a bit, but we ended up needing to go inside due to rain. The venue coordinator suggested using umbrellas, I guess 2-3 people would walk next to me holding umbrella's up around me? It seemed really weird, so I'm glad it didn't come to that.

    At a beach wedding, the bride was surrounded by her BMs and mom until she got to the head of the aisle (on an isle). I had the groom facing me. The BMs got lined up and came down the aisle. Then I had the groom turn around so he could see the bride come down the aisle with her mom.

    Maybe carry a big bush in front of you then strategically place it as decor.

    (The only actual idea that seems decent are the doors Penny posted)

    I've heard of something where your father holds a giant white umbrella to conceal most of you as you descend, and then when you reach the top of the aisle he brings the umbrella down. I may do that

    I will have to walk through half a zoo in my dress (there is not a "getting ready" area there) I am not worried about guests seeing me as long as FH stays inside our venue and doesnt see me before I get in there I am golden. Chances are you wont be able to totally conceal yourself from everyone and the effect will still be the same even if people see you coming from farther away. Smiley smile
