Hi 2023 brides!!

I was engaged for over 2 years by the time we got married. We had our venue, caterer, and photographers locked in with contracts 2 months after we got engaged (22 months from our original date). Florist, officiant, and miscellaneous vendors came around 18 months out or so. I bought my dress a year out (purchased at a sample sale, so would have waited a little longer if I bought new). If your top choices for vendors are booking, I’d start looking into and booking them. I know some of the vendors I still follow on social media are booking their 2023 couples already. Not only would it give you a concrete number to continue to save up for, but it may also lock you into lower rates versus waiting (we locked in some 2018 rates for our 2020 wedding by booking early).

May 2023 and we have the venue booked (at 2021 prices). We just booked the DJ, and I am deciding between 2 photographers. I also bought my dress, because it was THE one. LOL The rest can wait until after the New Year.

My wedding will be on March 19, 2023🥳❤️. Personally I like to do everything ahead of time. At least the most important things. I got all my vendors except cake and flowers. Everything else is pretty much set. I would suggest get your venue first! And everything else will fall into place after that! ☺️🙏🏻 Congratulations and goodluck ❤️

Hii! My Fiancé and I are getting married July of 2023. I was told it’s never to early to start looking. We already found our venue but I think I’m going to wait until the middle of 2022 to look for my dress and the other vendors.

May 2023!! I booked my venue almost immediately (got engaged April 2021). I booked my wedding planner in early June and just booked my photographer yesterday. I'm now looking into DJ, ceremony music, videographer and makeup. My main goal is to book my one wedding a day vendors asap! The rest like florist, my dress, centerpieces, tablecloth, etc. can wait. My friend who is getting married in November 2021 waited too long to reach out for makeup and hair and had slim pickings. So while I'm not sure if they count as a one wedding a day vendor, I want to at least start reaching out to makeup artists and hairstylists now so I'm not left struggling to find one last minute. My planner told me hotel blocks (I'm an out of state bride) and transportation usually open up their rates about 1 year before wedding date, so we are waiting on that too. I'm also going to wait I think 1.5 years in advance before asking my wedding party. People have suggested not asking until 8 months-12 months before your wedding, but I feel like that's too far! So I plan to ask my party this fall. Sorry this is so long!

My fiancé and I booked our venue for 9/23/2023. Things are booking up fast because of covid, etc. We will go check out catering soon and book photography. As for the rest we will probably wait until next summer.

Getting married in April in 2023 too !! I have the vendor and DJ booked already. Im not planning on getting my dress until around November of next year because my weight fluctuations. Next step is booking a photographer/ videographer. I looked at a few that are already booked for our date. A lot of vendors are getting booked quickly because of covid pushing back weddings.

Hello All!! Our wedding date is June of 2023!!! We’ve purchased our rings (not sure why we started their). We pushed our date out to try and pay for the expenses as we go instead of accruing a lot of debt. A few weeks ago we met with a wedding planner!! YAAAAAY!!! I’d like to start visiting venues and securing the location, I believe the venue will determine everything else for me (invitations, save the dates, our attire everything). Happy planning and happy to know I’m not the only 2023 Bride.

YAY!!! Getting married 1/1/2023. I’m having a Surprise Bridal Proposal Dinner on 11/20/21 and I have a dress appointment 12/4/21. I already have a dress chosen so I’m basically going to order it.

Mine and Michaels wedding is set for Aug 26, 2023 and we are picking our vendors now and paying for them ahead of time. Weddings can be so stressful so we’re getting all the heavy lifting out of the way now.

Getting married in October 2023 and I’ve had my dressed picked for several months now. I already know who my wedding party is gonna be bad roughly how many people will be there. I’ve looked at 1 venue so far and as for vendors I’m completely lost on how to do any of that.

We have our colors, wedding party, and where we getting married at done and our wedding is May 2023

My wedding is December 2nd 2023 and I have deposits on everything already.

April 2023. We booked the venue 24 months out because others venues in the area were already full until Jan 2023. It's an inclusive package, so we have our dj, food, photography and decorator done. We also chose our colors and I bought my dress because it was a sample sale, and I wouldn't have gotten a dress like that in my budget! I won't do much else this year except select and send save the dates, and ask my bridal party.
