Our venue is gorgeous but it doesn't have the best views. I'm sure it did when it was first built in 1922 before someone decided to put an 80s cinder block of a building in front of it.

I'm considering reserving some time before the ceremony for the guys to get their photos out of the way at least. FH is notorious for getting dressed in what feels like 10 seconds flat. Even for fancy occasions.

You could probably do some bridal party pics before the ceremony with the guys and ladies separately. Maybe also some parent/family photos beforehand? That might help with your use of daylight. Then just couples pics and the full bridal party afterwards? I don't know enough about photography to know if that would work out well, but it's a thought. Where are you getting married? I'd love to see pics of the venue! I bet it's beautiful if it was built in 1922.

Ugh, weather! I'll have my fingers crossed for you! It can't be controlled but we can always hope.

We're getting married in the George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA. FH likes to say he knew it was the place he wanted to host our wedding as soon as he went inside.

Hopefully these pics attach in the order I list them:
Ballroom where we will hold the reception
Lobby for the cocktail hour
Their second, smaller ballroom for the ceremony

Yay, I've found my first date twin! We'll definitely need to stay in touch to see how the planning is going. We just picked our date like 2 weeks ago, so I've been scrambling to catch up on all the "overdue" items listed on my WW checklist lol. Just got our wedding planner and photographer booked, and I think I'm gonna take it easy now.

Wow! Thats so early but I'm sure it will be easy enough for you to finish! We picked our date Feb 2017 so we have had a lot planed for a while now. I had MANY months of planning nothing because it was way to early. I am so happy now that I can start to plan some of the smaller details! I have everything but the DJ booked. A very close family friends said they have a "friend DJ" who can do the wedding for us. Thats why we have waited to book-anything free helps. However, I have yet to hear back from them and I really don't want to just ask them, lol. So I'm kinda stuck.Who is your photographer and Dj?

We actually were just in Philly taking our engagement photos! We were at Rittenhouse Square, Race Street Pier, and City Hall.
