Just Said Yes April 2022

Hey ladies! I'm torn between two dresses and am hoping for some feedback.

I've narrowed my search down to two dresses that are the same shape (mermaid) but have very different detailing on them. One has a lot of beading and a long formal train, and the other dress has a wonderful white lace but is definitely more on the simpler side. Dress #1 : Allure Couture Bridal c568...

Dress #2 : Suzanne Neville Athena (will have an oyster/champagne lining instead of the grey that is currently used in the dress I tried on in the photos)

I would love to get some feedback on which one I should go with Smiley smile

In terms of venue, we are having our wedding in Chicago in a typical loft/big windows sort of space. Think lots of candles and string lights haha. We don't plan on going super formal with our decorations and I really want to be sure that I don't clash my dress with the vibe of the space. Our venue options right now are Greenhouse Loft, Room 1520, and Skyline Loft.

I also want to be able to dance my butt off haha so I don't know if the train will be a hassle.

Thanks in advance!

I absolutely love how you look in dress #2!!!
To me it makes you look so regal, elegant and like royalty without the need of having a big, long extravagant wedding dress. Plus it accentuates your figure perfectly!

I personally like the lace better. Lace feels timeless and romantic, and that design is so whimsical and beautiful.

The first dress seems more "stuck in time" and I feel like the beading might be comfortable or catch on things. My vote would be for #2 hands down.

They are both perfect and fit amazing on you! But the train on the first one is the one that had it for me! I vote for the first one! 😍

Those are both such gorgeous dresses!!

I think I'm leaning towards dress #1 - even if it requires a lot of bustling - because that train is stunning!! 🤩

I much prefer dress number 2. There’s something about the skirt portion on dress number one that seems a little “off”. Additionally the bottom of dress number one feels like it’s missing something at the bottom .

#1. It's glamorous. It highlights your curves better. It's a tad dramatic in a subdued way. I love it
#2 has more of a typical lace pattern. I'm not sure I like the way the fabric drapes.

    Pick what you love!

They're both so pretty, but #2 is my favorite. Gotta love lace, it's so flattering.

You look beautiful in both! but I love the detail in the lace and the way it forms on dress #2. I feel that you can definitely add a beautiful diamond belt to make it stand out and accessories. Your venue is more on the simplicity details and dress#2 fits perfect for that. Although that said dress #1 is a show stopper, stunning, and you look amazing in it ! I feel that since your venues details and decor are on the simplicity side you definitely standing out in that dress would be a wow factor. It really depends on you, what type of bride you want to be, and which ever dress makes you feel you are staying true to you and you don't want to get out of your dressSmiley heart ^.^ I'm sure you will pick the perfect dress for yourself!
