Hello to everyone!

To those who know about Mexican traditions, activities, food to eat, etc., I am wanting to incorporate it into my wedding but I need help..
Growing up I was not around my Mexican side so I am unsure how to approach this.
Whatever information you have on tradition, food, colors, etc., that I can use please comment or inbox me!
Thank you Smiley smile

Hello! I am Half Mexican and I'm incorporating a few dances from "tradition". One called the "money dance" where people pin money on you for a dance. Another is the dance under the viel. Bride has viel on and someone holds her viel up to create a "bridge" and all the women get in a line and hold hands and literally dance (running really) everywhere while holding hands and starting from under the viel and passing under the viel a few times. The men do this also. Another tradition I am incorporating. Not sure if you're Catholic I think this is more Catholic is during the ceremony the groom has 13 gold coins representing his income and his belongings and passing it to his now wife. So she is in charge of financed and money and belongings. As far as colors the Mexican flag is white green and red. There are so many Mexican foods tacos soups bread sweet bread tamales and more! Drinks lots of fruit juices watermelon juice pineapple juice cucumber juice and Horchata. Hope this helps!

Hi Preciosa! Congratulations! While I am not of Mexican heritage, several brides I know of Mexican heritage wore mantilla veils on their wedding day! They have beautiful lace on them and are easily available at most bridal shops! Smiley smile
