Help!

Hey y’all,
FH and I have had our venue picked out since last year when we got engaged. This past weekend that fell through due to family drama. We’ve been told that it’s okay to use the venue still but I just don’t feel right about using it after what has happened. We had talked about a smaller “courthouse” wedding but he doesn’t seem happy. I know he wanted our wedding to be at the original venue and he’s upset. I’m not sure what to do because my parents are totally okay with the smaller wedding and having a party later with everyone.. but it’s still FH’s wedding day too and I want him to be happy as well. I’m at odds about what to do.
