Brides/Bride to be, what are you secret methods to losing weight in a decent amount of time? I’ve slacked! I still have 8 months to the wedding and 3 month till my first dress fitting. I need to lose like 30-40 pounds. But I’m good with 20-25 in 3 months. Help!!

Strength training is a good way to slim down if inches is what you´re going for. Look for a work out that incorporates handheld weights or uses body weight as resistance. With strength, you can target specific areas that you want to slim such as thighs or core. I went from a size 12 to a size 6 by going to Jazzercise regularly for a year, but everyone has their own workout tastes. Good luck!

My wedding is 6 months away as well. I lost a bunch of weight a few years back by running a mile every single day of the week with portion control. I started doing the same thing Monday, really hoping to drop major inches and weight.

I do 45 minutes of yoga at home everyday and go to the gym 2-3 times a week. I’ve found that getting my flexibility in check has really helped my workouts have more impact. Also I’ve started doing a paleo diet again because that has helped me with weigh loss in the past.
Best of luck on your wedding journey!

Completely cut your meals in half!! The easiest way to start is split all meals. If you can skip breakfast if you need to eat a cutie, apple, or low sugar oats. Don't forget once a week eat something you love. I promise it won't set you back unless you eat a whole bucket of ice cream. haha Don't do CROSS FIT!! This will cause you to look bulky. Drink lots of water and keep lots of fiber in your diet. I have lost 25-30 pounds and feel wonderful!!!! For two months I have been able to stay where I am. I'm getting married June 6, 2020. I wish you the best !!

People say weight watchers is the best. If I don't look and feel the way I want by 3 months out from the wedding I'll do weight watchers. We just started intermittent fasting over a week ago. I haven't lost weight and basically all I eat are salads. They say it can take a few months. My FH has lost over 4 pounds in the same amount of time. Insert eyeroll here!
