Hello, My fiancé’s Dad passed July 2018. I would like to give my soon to be husband a token of some kind, so that he feels that his dad will celebrate our special day . “ help”

We are planning on either having our ceremony where FH's mom's ashes are scattered, or visiting her at her spot in the morning before the ceremony. If that isn't an option or you just don't like the idea haha, what about asking his family for a memento of his dad's or something that he can have with him during the ceremony? Like if he had a watch or something that he always wore?

I added charms with pictures of my grandmothers to my bouquet. You could do something similar and put a charm with a picture of his father on his lapel or his boutineer

My husband lost his grandparents right before our wedding. As a former jeweler I had a bunch of random jewelry bits and pieces around. I gutted an old pocket watch and had two shrunken pictures of his grandparents (grandma on one side pops on the other) and had a friend who works in glass cut some pieces that I sealed around the edge. He keeps it in our closet to this day.

I bought my husband a lapel pin with pictures of his parents and his brother. He lost all 3 of them. 😢. I got it from Etsy and he loved it. He cried when I gave it to him.
