You need to select a color or color family and let them select a 👗that will be appropriate, affordable, and comfortable for their body type and price point.

I would recommend picking a color, length, fabric and store and letting them pick their own dresses. I wanted everyone in the same dress so that's what I did then less than a week before the wedding, my maid of honor's dress didn't properly fit so we went out and got her a new dress 5 days before the wedding. She apparently hated the dress all along anyways. It was also very stressful trying to find a dress that fit all of them. I wish I had let them decide.

I'd suggest keeping everybody in the same length.
Same store. Choose the color or colors.
I'd you want to let them pick, go for it.I chose everything about my bridesmaids dresses, and haven't ever had any say in any wedding I've been in and had zero issues.
