You don’t have a date until you have a venue. Figure out a budget, a rough draft of your guest list, and a venue that fits both of those things. Once those three are completed, you can start working on other vendors.

First, figure out your budget. Then google venues, look up their prices, send emails to Inquire about pricing and what their packages offer. Take a tour of the places you like most and book the venue. After that, fill in the gaps the venue doesn’t provide and put deposits down with those places. Look at Pinterest and see styles you like regarding color and vibe. Or hire a wedding planner. Lol I personally like doing these things, so I’m having fun with it.

Figure out a budget. Then a rough draft guest list so you can narrow down venues. Then find your venue. After you book that you’ll have a date and can start booking everything else.

Definitely need to secure the venue (with catering if included) after budget and guest list. Then the things after won't feel as much of a rush because those at that point are all optional and little details

You can totally get everything done by February. Like the others said, you need to figure out your budget before you do anything. After that, everything else will fall into place. Decide what is most important to you and your fiancé and go from there. Some people decide to spend more on a venue, others want to have more guests so will go with a cheaper venue. It’s all in what you want. But since it is seven months away, you need to get working on it! Congrats!

Like PPs have said, you need to figure out your budget, number of guests, and secure a venue. After that, you need to go dress shopping! If you have to order a dress, it could take 6 months to come in so get on that ASAP as well. Good luck! You can totally get everything done by February. We're getting married on Leap Day, and I've only been engaged since Easter, and we have 90% of the planning done already.

Hey Patience! How has your wedding planning been coming along? Did you start looking at venues yet?
