Help with makeup ideas?

I’m looking for photo inspiration to show my MUA and I want something whimsical and not too glam or dark. So far I’m kind of all over the place. I know I want a light colored eyelid like pink, champagne or lavender. I want big separated looking doll lashes with rosey cheeks and a pink lip. No heavy eyeliner. No cat liner.
What I’ve found so far, plus of the kind of lashes I want. Do you guys have better ideas or should I just show my MUA every photo? There’s something missing from all of them.

It would probably be easier for them if you could narrow it down to two photos. Pick the one that is the closest to exactly what you want and then say "I want this, but instead of this lip color, I want the one in this picture instead" or something like that. I like the third picture and you could just tell them no eyeliner!

That’s a good idea, I don’t want to load her down with a bunch of changes. So I could say “I want this but no eye liner and I want to add blush like this other pic”? I just feel like I’m making it too complicated. I wish I could find a photo with everything I want in it.

I think she could handle that! This may sound silly, but have you thought of using one of those "live makeup" apps where you can take a picture of your face and add the "makeup" onto it? Obviously it wouldn't look super realistic, but hey it's worth a shot!

I didn’t even know those existed! Thanks for the tip! ❤️ I own a ton of makeup and rarely wear any of it, never even thought there were makeup apps out there.

My makeup artist asked me to share my pinterest page with her so she can get an idea of what I like. Is that an option? Maybe do it ahead of time so you aren't bombarding her with photos day of.

That’s a good idea, I have a Pinterest but never made pages. I’m going to see her when I get my hair dyed the week before(it’s a full service spa), they just don’t do trials. I’d have to pay for day of makeup twice, kind of stressful but I like their work.

I would choose a photo that's closest to what you're wanting just to give your makeup artist something to go off of. They're professionals, so he/she should be able to help make the look your own!
