Hello to the WeddingWire fam!

I’ve already started planning for my wedding come up next year..and I’m already running into obstacles.

I found this wonderful venue that could be our all in one ceremony/reception. We don’t want to spend too much or go past our limit..I’m trying to find photographers/videographers that do wonderfully and aren’t too expensive.

Does anyone have any recommendation for the range of $1000-$1500?

It depends on what you're looking for & where you're located... I live in the NJ/NY area & everything wedding is expensive....
I'm getting 10hrs, 2 photographers for $2650

My sister is a photographer and she suggested to me to look at newer photographers, people who haven't shot as many weddings and are looking for more weddings for their portfolio. I don't know where in TX you are, but I strongly recommend looking for people who haven't done as much just so you can stay in budget. THAT BEING SAID - do not just book a photographer because they are cheap! Be sure that you like their past work, the way they edit and capture photos, and that they have done enough to know which moments not to miss (i.e. The Kiss, the cake, dancing, small details, etc.)

Not sure where you're at but I recommend https://www.sandycphotography.org/ Sandy! She did our engagement photos. She is out of Galveston, but will travel for a very reasonable rate and her packages are well priced too! We're having her at our wedding as well in Georgetown on October 19th. You can tell her I sent you! 😊
