Help with father/daughter mother/son dance

jnsangel4life, on February 18, 2018 at 4:38 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15

I do not have a father, and my FH does not have a mother. He will dance with our daughter and I with our son. We would like to do it at the same time to one song. But I am stuck. Would ANYONE have a good suggestion of a cool country song that would work for both couples to dance to? Or suggestions for each would work, also. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. The message of the song is great.

These are some great suggestions! I was going to do "Cross My Heart" for the Processional but I changed that to "In Case You Didn't Know" - Maybe I will do Cross My Heart for the dance. That's fantastic!

I keep seeing this suggestion. I will have to listen to the song -- not sure if I have ever heard it. I am new to thing country thing. Thank you for the suggestion.

I love that song. "My wish for you is that this life becomes all that you wanted to. Your dream stay big. Your worry stay small. Never need to carry more then you could hold and while your out there getting where your getting to. I hope you know somebody out there love you too..." Something like that. I sometime sing it while my son and I randomly dance.

My Wish- as soon as I saw the suggestion I agreed. It's a fantastic song- perfect for a family with young-er children.
