Help with chargers at a buffet

I am having a buffet wedding but I decided I really wanted chargers at my wedding to make the tables look less empty. My question or concerns now is, do the chargers stay on the table all night until the end of the wedding clean up? Or do I ask my caterer to grab them all from the table before the cake is cut? I have a day of coordinator but I don’t know if that’s something she does or can help with? If they stay on the table the entire night, I guess that’s fine I just don’t know the rules for it. Just wanted some guidance, thanks!

That is something you have to ask the caterer. If they don’t provide them, they may not pick them up. How long they stay is up to you. I would have them removed after dinner. Your month of coordinator can take care of that as well.

Ask your day-of coordinator if that’s something she can help with. Mine helped with all different kinds of things. If they can be taken away before the cake cutting, that would be best so the guests don’t feel awkward trying to place their little dessert plates on the chargers.
