I would say as soon as you can. I feel it durante hurt to have a plan in advance if you have your date.

Girl some timeliness make sense but not fue everything. Maybe the cake 6 months in advance. The only thing is that the basket could close unless they're long standing. Catering can book up so I don't think I would wait on that.

We booked our caterer at 9 months out and cake at 6 months out. We haven’t decided on flavors or food yet because the company has so many options. But be careful some people book up really fast.

Thanks we definitely need to do something soon. I’m glad I asked because we were about to wait until about 3 months prior

We booked our caterer right after we booked our venue, about 22 months out. We’ve adjusted the hors d’oeuvres a couple times as we’ve sampled at our caterer’s open houses, but it’s been nice to know we’re locked in with the prices from 2018. We have our cake tasting in just a couple weeks, about 6 months out from the wedding.

The sooner the better to get an idea of what you'll have to budget and to lock vendors in.
