Help!! Website vs fb event

Mallory, on January 16, 2020 at 9:07 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Would a wedding website be best (Zola) or facebook event page?

We are having a ceremony of 35 guests and the reception about 100 are invited. How would I word this on the website/page when mentioning where these are taken place at?
Should I not mention location or should I just not do a website or page?

    Hi Mallory,

Most would make a site but it's not necessary. If you don't have a lot of info that needs to be put out, you can easily just send out invites with the venue, date, time and address. I would probably do something more along the lines of announcement cards with the reception information on it as well for those invited to the reception since they won't be at the ceremony.

It would be tricky doing a public website for the whole event because not everyone is invited to the whole thing. In my experience, people invited to the reception should also be invited to the ceremony, but that could be an Old Southern Rule.

If you wanted to send invites only to the ceremony guests and then make a page for the reception, that would probably work.
