Have you checked Benton harbor? There is a place we checked out outside of Benton harbor that was really nice, not too bad on price either.

Look into government owned properties. I feel like a lot of people over look them. State, county and city levels as well as any national forests or parks near you.

I have seen a few in Benton Harbor, April. Not sure which you're talking about.

We are having our ceremony & reception at Hidden Vineyard. It does fit 150ppl. It might be too close to your budget though. Have you looked around at the other barn in that area? I want to say it’s like Blue House barn or something similar.

We are having ours at Stonegate Manor next August. It's in Benton Harbor and about 50 minutes away from where I live in Kalamazoo. I believe right now they have a deal going on for all the dates they have left open in 2018. It's beautiful! Literally fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I think it has all of the things you are looking for as well. Definitely has a romantic feel!

Blue dress barn is the one in Benton harbor. They also own a couple sister venues.

Stonegate Manor is beautiful! You could look into the Shadowland Ballroom, the empty room isnt much to look at but after its decorated its pretty fantastic and its literally on the beach. People rent the house next door sometimes for the night before and after. I've been to a few weddings a Blue Dress Barn, only problem with that is there aren't really any super close hotels, but its a straight shot from there to benton harbor or st joe. The Vineyard at 12 corners is beautiful too. Good luck!

Check out Blissful Barn! It’s about $5,700 for ceremony + reception. Our bar tending package was $3,000 and we’re still waiting on our aterin quote, but you can definitely stay within that $10,000 budget easily.
