HELP RSVP CARD ISSUES!!!!!

Nicole, on April 18, 2010 at 11:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

Ok so I ordered the RSVP cards that matched my wedding invite which are black background with hot pink writing.... Well I didn't realize until I received them that when guests RSVP they cannot write their names and how many are attending because the background is dark black unless they write with like a white, silver, or gold marker type pen, but how many people hafe those laying around their house.... Any ideas on what I can do so people can RSVP without having to re-order and throw the black ones that match away?!?!?!?!

#1 - How about getting those Pens and shipping them together with Invitations! That would be cool & different...!

#2 - Getting REALLY nice Hot Pink or Pink or White stickers and putting them on invitation, where space for RSVP is. There are many sizes of them

I know this won't sound ideal to you, but maybe you can get white labels and cut them to fit on the name line?

I like Elena's idea. You can probably even find white circle/flower shaped stickers with a hot pink border if you look at places that sell scrapbook materials.

I had a similar problem, mine were dark red, but it wasn't as much the color of my rsvp card it was because of the material it was made out of. If someone couldn't write on it, they just turned it over and wrote everything on the back.

Wow.. kinda sticky situation... you can always write their name in for them so you know that they wont forget.. like so many guests have before..and your wondering where and who they came from.. then send along cute little stickers that have number of guests that they can place on just that line?? sorry girl this is a hard one..

Yes nothing shows up ink or pencil... Sending a pen to 300 people will be far to expensive for the pen and postage. We thought about the label thing but it looks a little tacky.... We just thought about doing like a transluscent/ Vellum clear paper over but the only thing that can write well on it is a sharpie.
