I am getting married in October 2020. We are having a Garden ceremony but our reception is inside the venue which she told me is always really really COLD. I chose my dress wayyy before we had a venue picked out and now I am having second thoughts about it. Here is a picture of my dress:

cfb_1334907.jpgI have no sleeves or anything, and I saw this cute jacket type thing on David's Bridal's website but I feel like it would look better on a plain dress with no appliques like mine. It also only comes in one color and my dress is ivory and champagne and the jacket only comes in white. Maybe I am being a little dramatic but I would love to know if you guys think it will clash with my dress and if you have any alternatives or ideas so I am not freezing on my wedding day! cfb_1334917.jpgcfb_1334915.jpg

    That's an easy one. Buy a faux fur and take the dress with you or pictures of the dress to ensure it is the right match. Don't buy the flower one you parted. Doesn't look like it matches

    I saw some of these and I like them I just wasn't sure whether I would want one for the night of! I have a regular jean jacket for everyday wear and everytime I wear it I get super hot realy quick lol so I don't think that would be the best for the wedding night. Definitely considering it for the honeymoon though!

    Thank you! I searched pinterest but didn't see anything that just jumped out on me. Luckily I have time but I think I am leaning towards a faux fur or a shawl if I can find a nice one!

    I think a pashmina type scarf would be ok. Just think, you will be mingling and moving around throughout your wedding, greeting guests and dancing. It may not be as cold as it sounds🤞🏾

    Love you in your wedding dress! I agree that a warm shawl or a customized jacket would be great for the moments you are cold
