I used two different websites for my wedding invites. The first one was www.elegantweddinginvites.com and they are beautiful. They have different options for bows, I went with a custom name one. They also have so many options on invites with pockets. I am not a huge fan of picture invite so I went with a elegant look and added inserts to my liking. My second invites (due to postponing) were from www.basicinvite.com and they were even better!! Their customer services was amazing and when your orders your samples they are already custom to how you would like which many companies do not do. They also send you a huge starting kit that shows you what colors they have and all the steps you take next.

Also, I had a budget of $400 for invites (100 needed) and on my first ones I paid $290 or so and my second ones came out to $170. So either way, I relatively stayed in budget.

I got mine from The American Wedding. They provide the ribbon, but I had to cut it to make the bows. They also offer addressing the envelopes with guests address which is what I choose to do because my husband and I have terrible handwriting. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of what they look like put together, but here's a photo from their website. I choose to do red writing rather than black since red was one of our colors. I think they turned out very nice. My husband and I spent one night putting it all together. We had multiple inserts as well.

I ordered my invitations from zazzle.com and ordered card wraps from cardsandpockets.com. I'm adding red ribbon to tie it closed myself.

    Hi Brenda!

I'm also looking at Basic Invite..did you get that packet when you ordered samples? What is your opinion on the paper types?

Yes, on their website I customized a few designs I liked (more than pictures) and ordered the samples and it came with that informational book that includes all their colors too! And yes, I did like them. I found their quality to be nice compared to the other places I had seen but I ended up going with the clear/acrylic like invites and went with a navy blue envelope that made them pop. I really enjoyed my experience with them and their product quality

Awesome! Thank you for sharing. I'm going to work on my samples now. I was going to use somewhere else but after putting it all together it came out to $1200 and that was way too much! I saw the acrylic ones, they look awesome..such a good choice!
