Just Said Yes April 2021

Help! Not sure what to do.

Hi all,
My wedding is scheduled for April 5th. It took us going over a lot of hurdles to get here, I had brain surgery in August before being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. Life is short!

My family lives in another state and will have to take 2 planes to get here. However with the 2019 Coronavirus starting to spread I’m unsure if I should keep it scheduled or postpone. I am worried about their safety and mine.
What would you do?

If they are traveling within the USA, I’d go ahead and have it. I wouldn’t postpone if it’s a stateside wedding.

I agree. Always be on the cautious side which means take precautions to avoid getting sick that means wash ur hands, dont touch your face with dirty hands after touching surfaces. Ik the virus is scary and a big concern but honestly it’s affecting such a small minority of people. Like you said life is short, dont postpone your wedding.

Girl keep your day. You had a major surgery and are here to have a beautiful day. If they come great and if not you still deserve your big day.

I agree as well. I wouldn't postpone. Just take simple precautions. The people who want to be there will be. You've been through a lot keep your date & enjoy your day.

Hey lovely! First off congratulations on the upcoming wedding, being strong and overcoming those obstacles. You owe it to yourself to keep your day. Just brace for all possibilities. My wedding is in 4 days and we have people traveling to New Orleans and due to the Coronavirus we’ve gotten a lot of last minute (frustrating) dropouts. But I’ll tell you want I tell myself, just remember, the day is for and your groom. And whether you’re surrounded by 100 people or just 10, it’s going to be the moments with your groom that matter most. Have a great wedding love!!!

Fellow April bride here! I'm on the 18th! I know coronavirus is scary, but remember that your wedding is a once in a lifetime thing! If they were travelling to or from a very affected area, I would consider postponing, but if they are travelling here in the US, I would proceed as planned!
