Just rest your vocal chords, so no talking, including whispering, and drink plenty of fluids.

As Hannah said, no talking, drink fluids, and try hot tea. So sorry this happened and I hope you get better in 2 days!

I agree with the lemon and tea, and DEFINITELY don’t even try whispering as that’s even harsher on your vocal cords!

Halls Vitamin C drops - I personally do the citrus ones but the others are good too. They are soothing without being a menthol cough drop and I've used them every time I've lost my voice.

Also, I tend to lose my voice when I'm stressed (and Hi, wedding in a day? stress!) So try as much as you can to rest. Don't talk and remember to breathe. Make sure you get a really good night's rest tonight as much as you can, and try not to drink alcohol at your rehearsal dinner (It can exacerbate it!).

And remember, even if you don't have your voice back by tomorrow - thats okay! You still get to marry your favorite person! And it just means you have an easy out for not answering any annoying questions!

I had the same problem lol lol but I had tea chamomile with coughs in it stirred up until dissolved and drank that for until wedding day. I did no yelling but was upset because of the hotel that our guest were staying at. Then after that finished up my favors and gift boxes for our groomsmen and bridesmaids. That night went bed but was so excited for the next day to come 😊😊I hope that this helps you happy wedding day

One site said you should talk normally rather than whispering. The whispering involves more tension that normal voice.
