Hey all! My fiancé and I are getting married on Sept 18, 2020. What meal did you (or will you) serve to your guests at your reception? We keep hearing BBQ, but we aren’t big BBQ people. Best wishes!

We are doing buffet style...we are still finalizing on the menu
    ..so far we tasted
Heirloom tomatoes bruschetta Crab cake Roasted bourbon chickenJerk cranberry carrot riceBroil Tuscany salmon Caribe style house salad
My fiance and I love food and our menus reflects our culture but I was thinking to add a pasta.
We may change the entire menu again since we have more options from the chef...just sucks our second tasting is on hold.

If BBQ isn’t your thing, I’d definitely look at other options.

Our menu will be:Appetizers - Hawaiian meatballs, salmon bread, and tomato bread
Main Course - prime rib carving station, chicken picatta, garlic mashed potatoes, spring salad, corn on the cob, rolls & butter.
We are pretty limited on catering options where we live, so I was happy with how it came together! Your guests will be happy with whatever you chose 😊

We are having an evening wedding but serving breakfast, haha. Going out for breakfast is one of our favorite things to do as a couple and who doesn't love at least Some kind of breakfast food! So our caterer is planning some decadent breakfast casserole varieties, maple bacon, country potatoes, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee/tea and bottomless multi-flavor mimosas are our "signature drink". We also found that breakfast options are more cost effective in our budget than traditional dinners, which gave us the flexibility to have hosted bottomless mimosas. I think the important thing is to find something that makes you and your FH happy, and run with that. It's all about the two of you anyways, right? :-)

We’re doing a 3 meat buffet style option. Roast beef, broiled chicken breast and pork tenderloin, with cheesy potatoes, green beans, pasta salad and cole slaw. Total was 9.75 per plate and it’s amazing food!

I’d honestly just start booking tastings and see what you like best!

We are getting married in August 2021 in North Florida on the water. We're serving a southern menu:

appetizers- shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, bacon wrapped scallops, and bbq pork sliders

    bread - cornbread and biscuits

    salad- mixed green salad

entree choice- fried chicken & waffles OR Bourbon Glazed Ham

sides- collard greens & cheddar grits

desserts- wedding cake, grooms cake, cobbler & vanilla ice cream

ALL of the catering is in-house so all we had to do was choose the room and the food, they do the rest.
