Sooooo i just found out an hour ago that one of my bridesmaids is pregnant. She is due 3 months before the wedding. I am overjoyed and happy and excited for her and her new bundle of joy but the selfish side of me is upset because i don’t want take anything away from her and the baby because it’s my wedding. I had planned on asking her to be my bridesmaid in 2 weeks at my girls get together. Should i still consider her as a bridesmaid or not? Please be honest with me guys.

I would absolutely still ask her. Like stated before, if she feels like it will be to much, she can turn down the offer.

If she is your nearest and dearest you definitely should ask her. If it’s too much for her SHE can make the decision to decline and attend as a guest. One of my bridesmaids will be 2 weeks from giving birth at our wedding date and I am just so excited for her (and glad I had them pick their own dresses so she is able to be as comfortable as possible)

Yes you should still ask her, if she is uncomfortable with it then she can turn it down. I have two pregnant bm's currently (didn't find out till after I asked them), but that's ok. My MOH got engaged 2 months after us and her wedding is a month after ours, and she's still my MOH. Smiley smile

Ask her! That would be great for a new mom! When my kids were babies I loved anything(even though it costs some money) that gave me an identity outside of mommy

You could just talk to her about it, say you want to ask her but understand babies are expensive and it may be a hectic time. She may be appreciative and just prefer to come as a guest. I was in a wedding last year, one of the bridesmaids was due 1 month before the wedding (she knew when she said she'd be a bridesmaid) then bailed 30 days before the wedding and didn't come at all. It was super rude I thought, she had 8 months to figure it out and should have bailed prior to the bride buying all her gifts and all that.
