My wedding is supposed to be October 23, 2020. I have sent out the save the dates in early March. The only thing I have planned is where the venue is, the church, a DJ and my hair/makeup. Nothing else. No: dress, shoes, suites, food, decorations, rings, no church musician yet. My question is do you...

My question is do you think I should postpone my wedding to April 9, 2021 or do you think I’ll have a few months to plan all this by oct 23. Please let me know...October or April?? 🥺

It boils down to what do you want? Do you want to have a big to-do or are you ok with it being a smaller event?

Do you have an idea of what you want and anyone to help? As much as we all love the details and imagining how it will look, that's just STUFF. What is important is what it means to you and FH.
If you're wanting suggestions, wander into a bridal store and just try things on. You don't need an appointment to do that on your own. Maybe a food friend or sister can go with you to give feedback, but ultimately that part is about what makes you feel...Bridal.
Shoes...I'm wearing converse. FH is only a couple inches taller than I, and I'm really a boots, hikers, or flip flops kinda girl lol I found blue ones, so that takes care of my something blue, if you're into those traditions 😉
Most venues have a list of caterers they've worked with before, so working something out with them is no big deal. Your church may have a list of local performers.
Decide what you want, who can help you with things like centerpieces and decor (and it doesnt have to be over the top...nothing wrong with simple and classy).I recommend looking at the "real weddings" page on this app for some ideas. Pinterest is also a huge help with visualizing what you want.
Regardless of which date you go with, it is all about the meaning of the day. If you postpone, people will understand and it will all be fine. Good luck ❤

I say do what feel right to you. Things are open where I live so you can do everything as before but I’m not sure as to where you are. But it’s do able if it’s open. So I guess it just depends on you and him and what y’all want. We want wait another year because now more than ever we see how short time is. Good luck to y’all and your decision.
