Help me with bridesmaid colors!

Have you thought of maybe doing mauve instead?

Birdy Grey's dresses are all $99, and they're great! I think it would look great since it's darker than dusty rose would be!

Merlot is really pretty, but I find it to be more of a fall color.

You could have them in a slightly darker pink. For example, desert rose or mauve. But first, I recommend ordering swatches from several different designers because every store's version of "dusty rose" is different. You will probably find one that's flattering to lighter skin tones.

Azazi does sell color swatches so take advantage of it and order them. As a pale and freckled redhead, I can tell you that you do NOT want your girls wearing skintone dresses. If you are really unsure, ask your bridesmaid's opinions. They know what colors look good on them or not.


Slightly darker pinks and more saturated (brighter) pinks are usually safe choices for me. I have a blouse that is about the color of Azazi's Mai Tai shade that looks great against my skin.

I had very similar colors as you are describing (my wedding was October 2022) and I think the “merlot”, “dusty rose” and “apricot” looked so great together!

Our colors are Marsala and Blush, and, although they are commonly referred to on Pinterest as Fall colors, we choose them for our Spring wedding (We loved the colors, and they match our venues). My bridesmaids are wearing Wine from David’s Bridal (it looks lighter online, but it’s an exact match to the Ling’s Moment collection). My bridesmaids looked at a lot of pink dresses at several stores (and I ordered swatches from several others), and, unfortunately, we just couldn’t find a pink that worked for their skin tones (very fair, some have pink undertones while others have a yellow undertone). I do love the dresses in the color palette shared above though!

Yes, order as many swatches as you can from different places and of different fabrics. I know online for Birdy Gray, the color varies depending on the fabric.

Thank you everyone! I ordered more colors and decided to go with Azazie Blushing Pink, Vintage Mauve, and Desert Rose!
