I am not kidding you, I absolutely cannot decide on which style to go with. I am stuck between a ball gown style and a fit-n-flare. I have tried on 35+ dresses and cannot decide between the two. A ball gown is something I always pictured myself wearing since I was little - it’s the only time in your life where you get to look like Cinderella and when I think of weddings I think of a ball gown dress. On the other hand, I’m very petite and ball gowns seem to swallow me a little bit and are very heavy. A fit-n-flare would hug me perfectly and I would look somewhat sexy while still being covered up. These are two that I am in love with... which one do you guys like??cfb_1430869.jpg

I still like the first one best. I like that type of lace better I guess and the bodice is cute.

It has elements of romantic and beauty with a touch of sexy with the slit in between the chest.

I’m with you in everything you said. I’m petite too and when I tried a ball gown it did feel like I was swimming in it or swallowed so I’m going with fit and flare.

No I didn’t even take pictures in ball gown lol. I just wasn’t feeling myself in it. yours is not as poofy though so it only flares out a bit so it’s nice. I also like the shoulder straps for petite girls, it gives it a rich look and fuller arms.

Thanks! Yea I think you will look absolutely gorgeous no matter the dress you choose so don't let the ballgown intimidate you. I was also incredibly indecisive (and made my own help me pick post lol). Having on the accessories I wanted to wear helped me pick but totally ok to not have that huge "AHA" moment!

If you have always dreamed of the ballgown then I would say go with it. Myself I would consider the time of year and if its an outdoor ceremony. If its an outdoor wedding then I would go with the lighter one (mostly so you don't get all sweaty). I seen a previous post where there is a detachable ballgown train, that could be your answer! Best of both worlds!

Hi! I love both of your dresses!

I worked in a bridal boutique for about two years and during those years I came to find that most Brides who got the fit and flare wished they had gone for the ballgown. This is only because when it comes to dancing and eating, they felt more free and more comfortable! Also, a few have said that they wished they gone all out because it is the one day when you can dress like Cinderella and ended up coming back to return the fit and flare and buy a ballgown. With that being said, if you feel like the ballgown swallows you, your alterations person will absolutely be able to help with that. A potential option for you could include taking out a crinoline layer or shortening the train. Overall it really comes down to what you feel the most beautiful in. You will look absolutely gorgeous no matter which dress you choose. I was also in the same position as you with styles and ended up going for my dream Cinderella dress and I tear up everytime I think about walking down the aisle to my future husband in it. Hope this helps!

It’s indoor ceremony and reception and it’s early May in New Hampshire, so could be snowing could be 70! Who knows 😂
