Help me pick a dress!!

#1 is my vote!

My personal opinion is dress #1, I like how the see through layer (tulle like material) lays better on top with this dress than dress #2.

I like the first dress better. The top is very flattering on you.

I vote for the first one

2nd one. I like the extra fabric flowing away from your body.

I like #2 on you a bit more because it doesn't "cut" you in half at the waist with a definitive line.

If I may offer an opinion, just as something to think about: You have a very lovely, curvy figure. Both dresses have a similar neckline, but I don't feel that either one of them is "it" in terms of the rest of the dress (of course, I could be very mistaken).

It seems like you are leaning towards an ivory, lace dress that creates a soft, romantic look. However, neither dress seems to lengthen you (in height). Maybe looking for a dress with lace that has a more visually clear effect of lengthening might give you more of what you are looking for? It might be worth exploring how ivory over blush or muave look on you too!

Would you maybe consider trying on more of a fit-and-flare gown like Alistaire or Giana by Maggie Sottero? Sedona (by Maggie Sottero) has a more modified A-line, but has more of a visual effect with the lace. This is just a collection that came to mind since I have just finished my wedding dress shopping.

One unconventional tip: If time is on your side, consider ordering a bouquet of artificial flowers that resemble the bouquet and color scheme you may want for your wedding day. It may help you visualize yourself more as a bride.
