We are planning to get married October 22nd of next year. We are not doing anything extremely formal and I am pretty sure that I want either a burgundy, Hunter green, or black dress. We plan to have the ceremony outside and Chris plans on wearing a suit. I am short, and chubby. Anyone want to do some pretend wedding dress shopping? I'd love to see what you guys come up with. Here are my parameters. I want something under $200, burgundy, Hunter green, or black. I think I prefer a long dress however I'm not opposed to something short. It does not have to be a bridal gown. I look forward to seeing your ideas.

Oooh what a fun assignment!
here are my choices!
Dessy Cowl Neck Dress - also comes in burgundy!
Adrianna Papell Dress - Macy's
Tulle star spangled dress from etsy
I do think, if you're quite short, you could also probably get away with a midi or tea length dress and it might be long enough to look sufficiently formal, so maybe check some of those out as well? It seems like some good places to check might be - chichi London, etsy, nordstrom, lulu's, model chic.
ohhh and I forgot to say. I recently purchased a dress from aliexpress based on a Teuta Matoshi one - the seller is called booma. I was actually really impressed with the quality - they have loads of tulle-y, boofy dresses if that is your vibe!

Okay so I was actually just looking at Revelry and thinking about how much I wish I could find an occasion to wear some of their tulle and satin dresses! Going with something generally marketed as a "bridesmaid" dress would give you the freedom to pick pretty much any color you want! Also Baltic Born has some amazing fall colors listed right now, and their velvet wrap dresses are to die for.

The great thing about Amazon is that you'll be able to return it if you don't like it 😂 That's always my worry with buying dresses from places like Baltic Born. I hope it goes well!!!
