Try calling the place where you got your spray tan and see what they say. Then call the masseuse and ask them too.

Definitely wouldn't risk it, the oils they use plus the pressure of their hands would probably cause streaking.

I'd ask the place you got a spray tan. I wouldn't risk it depending on what kind of lotions or oils the massage therapist might use could make it streak.

It might rub off. I'd skip the massage if it were me...I'd be too worried about it rubbing off to even relax and enjoy the massage.

I would call both locations and ask them. From my experience is that oils salt water and pressure causes spray tans to fade

I am so glad you posted this because I was debating spray tan or no spray tan before wedding, but I have a massage the day before myself. Would have never thought about it.

But yes. As others have said, spray tans are tenuous and while it could be totally fine, there is a big risk that it'll rub off. And probably not in a nice even fashion!

Maybe you could have the masseuse massage just your feet/ calves/ lower back/ areas that would not show in your dress ?

Also depending on how often you get massages, you may feel sore the next day so I wouldn't do one the day before the wedding.

Did you get an airbrush tan, or spray in a booth?

If you sprayed in a booth, I'd skip it. Airbrush might hold up a bit better, but I'm not sure I'd risk it. Or like @MelindaKG said just do a lower back/leg massage. The oils and pressure that the masseuse uses is not spray tan friendly.

NO. The tan only sets on the top layer of your skin. And exfoliation will not be good for it. Oils are good, because of the moisture. But avoid getting it really wet or really warm as much as possible. Not saying don't shower, just limit it. It makes it wear off much more quickly
