Help! Lively & Cultural Honeymoon

My fiancé and I are looking to find an epic honeymoon spot that had both the beautiful relaxing beaches and a lively culture we could explore (markets, food scene, maybe a city to explore etc)

We were deciding between Fiji and Bali, and I’ve done a lot of reading about both. Probably Bali best fits the liveliness we’re looking for - BUT I’m curious if there is a spot we haven’t thought of!
Something tells me Italy or Greece would be just perfect, but we wanted to try to go somewhere we might never go again due to distance and the time we would take off (2 weeks or so)
Any recommendations?

My mom is from the Philippines and they have GORGEOUS islands!!
I personally love Bohol. The beaches are beautiful and a true turquoise color. Here's a website with more information on the other islands!

You're welcome! I've only been 3 times, but the people are very friendly and love to entertain! When we were in Bohol, we went snorkeling, and relaxed by the beach. I believe there are waterfalls around the islands as well that you can swim at! It is quite a flight, but if you're looking for somewhere with natural beauty and culture, that's a great place to go!

I second the Philippines! Your money also goes a long way there. It is beyond beautiful, so many islands to explore and it is English speaking which is beyond helpful.

Bora Bora? That's where my parents went for their 30 year anniversary/honeymoon redo (their first honeymoon was just a trip to see family)

I think mostly water activities, snorkeling and paddle boarding. I think there is more to do in terms of water sports if you're a bit more adventurous than they are.

Thailand!! We have many friends who have vacationed in Thailand and LOVED it. There are beautiful beaches, tons of culinary and cultural activities and it's affordable. We were supposed to go there this year but it looks like we will have to wait a couple more years to make the trip.
