HELP! I'm Obsessing!

Mrs. G, on November 12, 2013 at 1:10 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 14

I have wedding brain and have had it since I was little! Now that the wedding is actually in the real planning stages I CAN'T. STOP. OBSESSING. My wedding isn't until next August! How am I supposed to stop thinking about all things weddings and actually be a productive member of society?!?!!?!

Does anyone else have the same problem?

I have this problem a lot too. I sometimes wonder what I'll do once the wedding is over. I try to just focus on one thing at a time. Pinterest is a great outlet for this too.

Just remember the wedding is ONLY one day..ok, maybe a week at max. Smiley winking Its very exciting though! And you'll come up with lots of ideas between now and then, so don't get overwhelmed. Just have a fun!

I'm already wedding obsessing! I'm trying my best to continue to function as a normal member of society but find it is very difficult. Who wants to study when there are so many wedding things I can look up! Lol

I know what you mean. Even though the date had changed a few times, I have been all wedding, all the time!!! Gee whiz!! But, it is a wonderful thing.

I can be the same way at times and I have dreamt of my wedding for years!!!! Through all of my friend's weddings I still thought of what I would want and now it's getting so close for me to be able to plan it's overwhelming.

But I wll say this, it will come and go! Some days and weeks you'll be a mad woman and then you'll get into a stage where you just need a break. When it comes to that go to the grocery store pick up some wine and a cheesecake and get a red box or two and just chill from the planning! Good luck! Smiley winking

Find new things to focus on. I'm in grad school, so there's always the CRUSHING WEIGHT of that on my brain. Smaller things also help--I get to look forward to the holidays, to my cousin's wedding, to a trip to NYC to visit some friends.

I totally agree! That's all I think about at home, work anywhere I go. I feel like those involved are like "stfu" already. Lol. It just such an exciting time for us ladies =]
