Help. i put the wrong time on my wedding invites....

Jessica , on June 6, 2019 at 11:00 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
I double checked, triple checked, heck I hexa-checked (if that’s a thing) my wedding invites before printing them. Yet, I still managed to have the wrong time on my invitations. My invitations are the “all in one” style if you know what that is, so there’s no true envelope and they’re sealed with tape anyway. What do I do? At this point, my guests will miss my ENTIRE ceremony. Panic mode is REAL. Any tips???

If you could open them then maybe you can white it out or put a label over it with the right time. That's what my friend did for hers because he had the same issue.
If you can't do that and they're already sent out then it's a lot of work but it's ok if you tell people about it.

It’s ok Jessica there’s time to fix it. If possible try to see if you can have the printing place do a small correction. Sometimes you get charge a fee rather than the whole re-print again. If is two late you can contact each person via phone, email, text message and tell them all the correct time. Have your bridal party and your parents know about it and help with it. I also think a good option is to actually move the wedding back to the time you printed. Is that an option?
Lastly you might want to consider printing some small cards like 3x5 and send them out to all your guest. Give personally yo those you see more often so you don’t have to spend on stamp but you can send the correct information and apologize for the mistake. You can do this yourself and print it for cheap and cut it.
    Good luck!

Can you get married at the time your invites say? Update your vendors?

When I printed my friends invitations a couple years ago at Staples the person messed up everything from the time to the font. They had to have them fixed for a small fee. It will be okay girl. Take a deep breath and try again. Good luck!

Have you already mailed them? Most printing companies will work with you to correct them for free or a low price.

If you haven't sent them out yet, you can still have them reprinted. If not, I would reach out to all the guests and inform them of the error.

My fiancé and I made our own invitations and I typed the ceremony address wrong. I didn’t notice until my future brother in law pointed it out when he received his in the mail. I just sent everyone a Facebook message apologizing and explaining that we are getting married at a church, not the True Value hardware store up the road. Everyone just laughed it off and it’s fine so far. It’s easy to make mistakes when there’s so much going on.

I did the same thing. I had to re-order them because of the way that my inviations were set up but it never hurts to try white out like the individuals suggested below.
