The place is called Hearts Home Farm in Hemet. It's beautiful. They are on Facebook and Instagram. The owner is Larry - he also officiates - you get your photographer, bouquets, catering, dj, They have a couple different packages - the first one is the enchanted garden wedding - it is 50 people for $6500 and the one we are doing is the elegant garden wedding and it is 50 people for $7600 if you do it buffet style (you still pick your food, you just get it yourself rather than be served) or the same package but with the food being served to you it is $8400 (you also receive 10% off if you have your wedding any day between Sunday and Friday. We are doing Sunday. If you would like information for them, let me know or look them up on the internet Hearts Home Farm.

Venues under $1000 in Southern California

    Newland barn - Huntington beach
    Brea community center - brea
Bella Terra Community center - Rancho Santa margarita
Norman p murray center - mission Viejo
    Williams barn - san marcos

Also all parks & recreation (basically have to go to county website for every county)

Also all community centers in each city are rentable by the hour. You can bring your own vendors in for all of the above I mentioned. Also you can buy your alcohol from Costco & hire a bartender to serve it.

This is the most cost effective way I've found. Also as far as catering.
Taco cart catering is usually about $10-15 a person.
    Another caterer https://www.bekkerscatering.com
***ask about kids rates for food. I've found some won't charge for kids under 3 & will discount for kids under 10.

Wedding dresses: go into a store try on dresses find a couple you love get the size of what it would be & then go online see if you can find one another bride is selling & save money buying it used. Your only wearing it one day.
    I got mine retail was $1800, I paid $350

Flowers: buy wholesale there are wholesale flower places. One is in downtown LA & you can do your own arrangements. If your looking for something more complex Search on local fb wedding pages for someone that can put arrangements together sometimes you'll find reasonably priced arrangements.

I'm doing a rustic theme I picked up centerpiece boxes & decor from michaels a while ago at 50-70% off.

My guest list is 150 people & all the quotes I've gotten including the venue bring me up to about $6000 thats with everything. So it is possible to have a great wedding for under 10k it's all about how much effort your willing to put in to sesrch for deals etc.

Potluck in a family member's backyard, a local park, or community center? I also like the punch + cake idea mentioned above. For a meal, the cheapest catering I found was $15/person (plus tax and tip), so food alone would put you over budget if you're feeding people. I'd also consider avoiding sites like this that set expensive expectations. Our culture wants us to throw food, open bars, favors, photobooths, etc at our guests. I know not everyone would be comfortable with something like a potluck. But I had some friends do this when they got married fairly young and broke, and their wedding looked lovely and special. If you only have $1,000 and inviting 100 people is important to you, you can find a way to make it work. Smiley smile If other things are more important, cut the guest list so you can be more of a host to a few special friends.
