I accidentally ordered cufflinks that state my fiance's initials in the wrong order, I used his initials "CTC" but it was one of those circle monograms and no one told me the middle initial goes in the center.... I didn't grow up fancy so I had no clue.
I spent $100 on them and they were supposed to be given to him on his birthday in two days to wear at the wedding in a little over a month. I am beside myself with what to do as in order to replace them, I just have to buy new ones, no refunds on monograms. His mother who is fancy and the one who noticed thinks I should replace them.
I don't know what to do, my fiance is a frugal man and $100 on cufflinks is fine as a special gift but $200 seems frivolous... I am worried the fact that I threw away $100 will upset him but I also want to make his mother happy.
My fiance ordered matching ones for the groomsmen and got the monogram right so I know he will notice, but he ordered rose gold on accident so those are wrong too! Help!
