Help! I lost my shower gift list!

I had a work shower a week ago, and today I was starting to write thank you notes however I realized I lost the list that had everyone's gift on it! Do I just write a generic thank you note now since I can't list the specific gift?!

If you lost the list and you don't remember who gave what, then a generic note is really your only option.

Thank them for attending. Mention something specific about the person (I love your positivity- You have always been there for me- you are such a kindhearted person, etc. ) and a generic thank you for the gift.

Advice for other people reading this thread: take a photo of your list and send it to at least 2 other people and email it to yourself for this exact possibility.
