Help! I lost my shower gift list!

Yes I'd say something generic

If you lost the list and you don't remember who gave what, then a generic note is really your only option.

"Thank you for your generous gift... can't wait to celebrate at wedding" blah blah?

"Karen,

Thanks so much for attending my bridal shower! I feel very lucky to have such wonderful coworkers. Thank you also for the generous and thoughtful gift. I appreciate your kindness, and I look forward to celebrating with you at the wedding!"

Thank them for attending. Mention something specific about the person (I love your positivity- You have always been there for me- you are such a kindhearted person, etc. ) and a generic thank you for the gift.

Advice for other people reading this thread: take a photo of your list and send it to at least 2 other people and email it to yourself for this exact possibility.
