HELPPP!!! I fell in love with two wedding dresses at two different shops, and they are both TOTALLY different. I'll give a little background and what I like/dislike or my hangups about each. We are getting married 9/27/2020 at a Country Club in New England, deep fall colors.
I went to store 1 (dress on the left) with just my step mom, and then store 2 with the whole crew (step mom, sister, 2 bridesmaids, and future mother in law). I think I need to go back to both stores by myself to see what I feel is right, but I am SO CONFUSED right now! My sister made it very obvious that she likes dress 1 better and thinks it is more flattering on me, but I’ve already lost some weight and plan on continuing down that path over the next 11 months, so I’m not concerned about that. Also, my sister has a history of being jealous of my body type/life, so I am trying not to put too much weight into her opinion.
Dress 1 is totally unique and not something I’ve ever seen before, it’s super comfy and easy to move in. BUT dress 2 has everything I wanted in a dress (long train, beautiful back, intricate lace, shows off a little of my curves but not too much). It was also hard for me to get the FULL picture of how easy it would be to move in dress 2, because the sample size was 2/3 sizes too small for me.
Dress 1 is classic and elegant and dress 2 is sexy and shows off my curves. The more I look at pictures side by side, the more I like dress 2, but maybe that's just because it's more fresh in my mind?
Any other tips on how to decide between two dresses that I love for different reasons?
