Help for rsvp

Hello! We are planning to use this site for our RSVPs as well. We spent a lot of time this weekend going through and typing every guest’s name in just to make sure there were no issues haha. The guest can type their full name and it will come up or they can type their last name only and it will show all people with their last name so they can then choose theirs.


My thing is on our invitations we went with more formal names (ex: William for Bill) and for their place cards I was going to just have “Bill ____” because he never goes by William, so that’s how I have their names on the site for RSVP. Not sure if that’s confusing or not?? But I assume someone that always goes by the shortened version of their name would realize if they couldn’t RSVP under “William”, try “Bill”. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, guests would need to type their name the exact same way you did in order to RSVP.

View Quoted Comment That was my thing. I initially started on another site and they had a button saying individuals can RSVP that arent listed. I made that as a suggestion because all the plus ones are put in as plus one.

View Quoted Comment Oooh very interesting! We did the same thing and put them in as Plus One. We probably have less than 10 people that we gave an unnamed plus one to, so I figure when they RSVP they will either put the name of the guest in the comment section, message me separately, or I’ll reach out to them to find out who the mystery guest is! Haha
