HELP. Father daughter dance

I think Daughters by John Mayer would be a good option, because it's talking about how fathers should be good to their daughters because one day they'll turn into mothers (reminds me of your situation). Or my wish by rascal flatts, and it could be saying that your dad wishes nothing but the best for you "I hope you know somebody loves you". Love both those songs

Samantha I'm glad you explained what daughters was about lol - I just listened to it briefly tonight while also searching for father/daughter songs but I clearly didn't give it enough play time lol

My biological dad and I will be dancing to "I loved her first", we have never really been close but both love the song. My stepdad has always been more of a father to me. We are dancing to "You are my sunshine" because when he came into my life I was about 10 years old and every morning he would wake me up singing that song. You will find that perfect song.

Would it be wrong to have him pick a song?

A couple songs FH and I have been contemplating are Frank Sinatra - The Way You Look Tonight, Lee Ann Womack - I Hope You Dance, Elton John -Tiny Dancer (love this song), Billy Joel - Piano Man and Michael Bublé - The Best Is Yet to Come. I still have lots of time to decide though so I'm taking my time.

My dad thinks he was such a great dad. He knows we don't have the best relationship but he doesn't ever think anything is his fault, so why would he think our lack of a relationship is his fault?!
