It's pretty hard to give any advice not knowing what the back of the dress looks like since different cuts would have different solutions

I would try to eat more vegetables and protein and less carbs.

A few things to consider. Had you eaten a lot before trying it on? Had you gone to the bathroom recently? It could’ve just been water weight. Or were you on or around your period? I’m always bloated the week before and week of my period. Or maybe your diet was just slightly different than normal, if that’s the case then just make sure you’re eating the proper nutrients between now and your wedding. It also could’ve just been the time of day. I feel the skinniest first thing in the morning before I eat or drink anything. If any of these were the case then you should be fine and try not to stress about it.

It depends on how much it wont zip and if your weight or measurements have drastically changed. Were you wearing the exact same undergarments as you did in your fitting? Did you have someone helping you zip into it? If its only the very top of the dress a sure fire way to get it to zip if youre doing it yourself and having problems is to turn it to the side of your body or all the way around to the front, zip, then shift back into place. Unless your dress has long sleeves or zips up above the shoulders this always works for me. Once its zipped its usually not too tight I just find I cant get enough leverage through the layers of fabric.

I'd guess that in 3 weeks nothing TOO drastic would have happened. It's likely some combo of diet, water intake, salt intake, your menstral cycle, stress, whether you wore anything different underneath, and whether you had someone else zipping the dress. All of these can be turned around in 2 weeks.

Obviously, if you wore something bulkier underneath then you'll want to wear whatever you wore to try the dress on after your alterations (2 weeks is plenty of time to find something if needed), and if you had someone else zipping the dress then that's an easy fix as well.

Try to drink lots of water, limit how much sodium and carbs you eat, exercise, and get enough sleep. You could also try a juice cleanse type of thing the days leading up to the wedding if you're really not having any luck, but I'd be super careful about that since you don't want to pass out on your wedding day.

Are you able to wear a shaper under your dress? I found 2 really nice ones at Kohl’s for approx $50/each…I am not kidding, it was like I lost 10 pounds & they were comfortable! Be sure someone trustworthy is able to help you try it on & help you zip it!
