Oh goodness, where do I start with this one? I bought a beautiful chapel ball gown, corset back, strapless. Oh goodness, where do I start with this one? I bought a beautiful chapel ball gown, corset back, strapless. I've got an exaggerated hourglass shape, thinking the corset would be perfect for my large bust. Indeed, the dress arrived, stunning. I tried it on. Everything fit BUT the bustline. What I mean it's the bustline comes too low, barely covers my areolas. Too much boob for a family event! The dress does everywhere else but this area! Holy crap, my wedding is in 30 days!! I went to a dress maker, who specialized in gowns. They tried to sell me one of their recycled gowns to switch the tops. HOW CAN I ADD FABRIC OR EMBELLISHMENTS to cover more breast? I don't have any more money to spend on expensive alterations.......there's got to be something that can be done!

The area I need to cover is from armpit to armpit.......... the photo attached is the neckline, but, my boobs are a 40DDDD. They barely fit.

David's Bridal is having their $99 sale right now! You could totally find a dress that fits for not very much (but remember you'll have to have it altered and a bustle added, so budget at least another $200 for that.)

If you're stuck on the original dress, buy a lace topper or have a seamstress add an illusion neckline with some lace appliques around the bust.
