Help!!! Bridal shoes (wide feet)

Christian, on April 3, 2021 at 9:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
I have wide feet and don’t wear heels often ( I don’t walk like a baby deer though lol). I plan to have a heel but I do have to walk on grass and gravel for the ceremony. Does anyone know where to get some cute, Wide Width bridal shoes? Really stressing because the ones I bought are too tight on my toes.

How tall are you? I’m 5’11” and have wide feet and I originally wanted heels but decided for super comfy flats instead. Depending on your wedding vision and everything else, maybe you could wear the heels for the ceremony/pictures and then change into flats? But that can depend on height, and I’m tall enough😂 DSW and Macy’s have great wide shoe options! I went to Amazon personallySmiley smile

Zappos.com lets you filter by heel height, medium vs wide width, etc. The only downside is you can't try them on before purchasing.

Try DSW or Famous Footwear. I have wide frer and have found several styles there that fit. I can't walk in wedges to save my life even though everyone says they cover all your shoe issues.

I can't make any suggestions for wide feet in particular, but I might suggest wedges if you're going to be on gravel and grass (or those heel cap thingys).

Honestly, I just bought regular shoes for my wedding. I got some pretty sandals and I rewear them semi-regularly.

Hey there! Thanks for your response. I’m 5’4” and my future husband is 6’. So I was planning to do heels for the ceremony and flats after pictures! I will definitely look at DSW and Macy’s! I’ve looked at Amazon but I must not be filtering correctly because it never gives me the wide width shoes 🤣

Make sure to try local stores first so can try on styles before you buy and see which are easiest for you to walk in.

I have wide and big feet and found looking for shoes to be a nightmare. I bought my shoes from this shop in the UK Sargasso and Gray (they ship to the US). I got flats, but they also have some nice heels. They are definitely not cheap, but my shoes are well made and feel good.

I have a wide foot and I found Betsy Johnson wedding shoes in a wide width, you can find them at David’s bridal. Or you can up half a size? That’s what I do most of the time.

Try 6pm.com. I haven’t looked for bridal shoes there but I know they do carry wider widths because I’ve had lots of success with wide calf boots with them.

Help!!! Bridal shoes (wide feet) 1I bought these from Lane Bryant. They are wide fit and they were super comfortable. I loved wearing them on my wedding day (also on grass) and everyone thought they were super cute.

That’s where I got my shoes from but already went up a half size lol. My pinky toe is short and won’t stay in the strap 🤣

For grass and gravel, I find the chunky heel is perfect. I also have wider feet and usually have to try shoes on before buying. My one success with online shoe purchasing was these heeled sandals from Lulu's which I have been considering wearing as wedding shoes. https://www.lulus.com/products/taylor-off-white-ankle-strap-heels/1057982.html

I know girl, I have wide feet too, I'm a size 9, so I have big feet too, just carry along with you some flat shoes just in case your feet starts hurting, definitely for your reception if you and your hubby to be plan on dancing, I dont wear high heels either, I have to practice walking in my shoes, break them in because there new.
