HELP! Blue Bridesmaid dresses

Private User, on September 28, 2014 at 9:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

I am looking for this specific shade of floor length blue bridesmaid dress. EVERYTHING I find is either mint or tiffany blue! Im in Canada so it may need to be something that can be ordered online or else available in Canadian stores Smiley smile Thanks everyone!

Ice blue. It was originally my color, but it didn't work getting married in the fall. I had a hard time finding it too. Everything was too dark. That being said, my colors are now gold and orange and we bought a champagne dress. What about putting the girl in your accent color and using the flowers and other details to work in the blue? I'm not telling you not to keep looking, but keep an open mind.

Alfred Angelo has a dress in a similiar shade, but i can't identify what color it is named... maybe if you call them and give them this dress number, they can tell you (if this is what you want)... I know the fabric is different, but it seems to be a true pale blue, no green undertone. http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/Disney-Maidens/521/?pg=1

It is always challenging to judge color from a photograph... but have you looked at the "lapis" color in the Jenny Yoo line? The dress in the pic below is "Annabelle"

This designer is available at a variety of stores but here is a link to Nordies: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/jenny-yoo-annabelle-convertible-tulle-column-dress-regular-plus-size/3633629?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=LAPIS+BLUE&resultback=900&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_3_D

I love love love the jenny yoo dresses- going to the USA to look at them this weekend while shopping for my dress. Thanks for the help! Keep any ideas coming- Obviously I have to pick a difficult colour!!

My colour pallet consists of (hopefully) these blue dresses, ivory/pink/grey decor. flowers will be pale pink and white/ivory.

If you ask to see Lapis dresses, make sure you say Blue Lapis! I have a BM dress that's the Lapis from DB, it's park purple. You have beautiful colors!

Monique Lhuillier also has "French Blue" in their bridesmaid dress collection. But I think this could be a little more dark/grey than you are looking for

David's Bridal is also carrying a line in "Capri" that could be in the correct blue zone.

Do you have access to Wtoo? They have a "light blue"

    Maybe BariJay's misty blue: http://barijay.com/bridesmaids/1450.html

    Aliexpress.com

    jjhouse.com

    dresswe.com

the list can really go on when it comes to chinese wholesalers. I actually bought my wedding dress from dresswe.com. Ice blue is a really common colour on these sites though so it's worth checking out.

I'm curious as to where your looking because I want my girls to wear mint and I can't seem to find the right shade. Every site seems to think mint is something different lol.

Try "Dessy Collection". Their gowns are gorgeous (we had a bride last year who put her girls in Dessy, and they were stunning). They are carried in plenty of stores in Ontario (check their store locator on the site). When you go on the site, search for blue dresses (there's 28 pages of them). Not every gown shown comes in the pale blue you're looking for, but after looking for about 5 minutes, I found three in the color I think you want. Here's a link to one random pale blue gown they sell.

The next link will take you directly to their site (you'll see the gown in a dark color. Go the color boxes on the right, second row, eigth box in, and click "Pale Blue").

Melanie, if you're looking for mint, you should try the Dessy Collection as well. They have quite of few shades of light green (including mint). Just go their site and search for green dresses.
