Help! Anti-Chafing Advice!

Hi all! I need some advice! What did you all do to avoid the dreaded chafing or thigh rub on your big day? I've seen many different options (everything from creams to thigh bands) but have seen a lot of mixed reviews. What worked for you? Also, has anyone every used bandelettes and how were they?...

I was so excited to try the monistat anti chafing gel but it literally wears off in minutes with sweat. Literally nothing is working for me this year with the heat, I'll be trying the body glide and bandelettes though!

I love the monistat gel, but as a primer doupe. For friction thighs I use shareware with upper legs and spray deodorant. I used dove spray and applied liberally before shape wear and before leaving to get ready. I did that when I was MOH both times, and it was an all day fix.

Thank you all so much! These are great suggestions and much appreciated. I think I'm going to start with the bandelettes and body glide... then, if those products don't work, I will definitely come back to this post and go to the next option! Thank you all!

Following! I've also been told that Gold Bond powder does wonders, I just haven't had a chance to try it yet.

My sister was sweet enough to get married last year in May during a Florida heat wave. Needless to say it made for some unwarranted chafing. We all thought our deodorants would work but it made our skin feel so gross and I was afraid of it somehow rubbing off on our dresses. Thankfully her mother in law whipped out some Anti Monkey Butt and it was a complete life saver! It worked so well that I started using it for my daily activities too! 100% will be stocking up for my big day next year!

I've been a huge fan of the Anti Monkey Butt Lady Powder. I started using it a few years ago and it will definitely be a must have on my big day, which will be needed for my Summer wedding. It doesn't contain any talc which is amazing and I can use it for thighs, lovely boob sweat, anything! I'm actually putting little travel sizes in my bridesmaids goodie bags for the day off. Too funny not to pass up!

I had hoped to wear stockings and a garter belt, but I haven't found anything I liked. Good old deodorant always does the trick for me though!

When I experienced really bad chafing, I used Anti Monkey Butt chafing cream . Interesting name, I know. But it worked wonders for me and my baby. I tried it because they had a $1 off coupon directly from the site. Its affordable, it worked fast, really well... and nipped the issue in the bud.

I have tried anti-chafing creams and they do nothing. My regular deodorant is what works best day to day. I am wearing shapewear under my dress that has the little shorts so they protect my thighs (along with slimming my belly).
