Hello friends, I’m trying to plan a week long honeymoon for my FH and I. Im having a very hard time deciding where I want to go, since obviously I’ve never booked a honeymoon or travelled internationally for that matter. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go on your honeymoon, or experiences of resorts you’ve stayed at there? We would prefer an adults only all inclusive resort. We also want to see the ruins of Tulum and would like a resort with the option of going there for a day on an excursion or something. Thank you SOO much for any and all tips and insight you can offer!!

You can try Groupon, they have tons of all inclusive resorts. Keep in mind, they have listed less travel deals lately because of the pandemic but I’m sure you’ll find some.

My FH and I went to booked our Cancun trip last through southwest vacation. It was super easy. We also went on a 4 in 1 day trip to Tulum best decision we made. Included playa del carmen, tulum, coba, and Cenote plenty of time at each location.

I would also suggest speaking with your local travel agent. We have one for our wedding super helpful makes things less stressful.

Excellence brand resorts and Secrets are good. I prefer Excellence over Secrets. You can buy an excursion to Tulum and all that through any resort. They have travel companies there, but it's cheaper if you book ahead of time. I've used Cheapcaribbean.com multiple times to book trips and you can add your transportation and any excursions through there. I 100% recommend booking transportation and excursions ahead of time because they'll be cheaper.

Nope. I've used it for years, as has my mom. You could also book directly through the hotel or look at Expedia.

I've been to four different Secrets resorts, and I freaking love them. They are super nice and the food is amazing. The service is awesome, and I love the 24 hour room service situation. They do offer the Tulum excursions (well, the ones in that area.) I am going to Secrets Capri on my honeymoon; actually just got my updated flight info!
