Helium led balloons for exit? Logistics?

Hi all! I'm 3 months out TODAY from our wedding on June 23, 2018, and we are just putting the final pieces/touches together.

The biggest head-scratch for us is the send off. We are exiting at midnight, and the outside of the building is rather dark. Because of this, we thought something with lights would be great for pictures, but sparklers are not allowed at my venue. I don't like the look of the glow sticks and a bridesmaid of mine had pictures not turn out the way she wanted with those.

SO - we like the look of helium LED balloons like the following picture, but where the heck do you house 100 balloons during the reception? Who blows them up and has them ready, considering the LED's will need to be turned on and placed into the balloons as they are blown up? Logistically I'm trying to wrap my head around this idea, as I find the pics LOVELY.

Has anyone done this?

I would love ideas considering I’ve already commented that I won’t be using balloons...

Guys how do I delete a thread? Since we aren’t doing balloons I figured I’d delete this but I can’t figure out how 😓🙈

Sarah, I would not be bullied into not doing something that you wanted to do. The adults that you are inviting to your wedding, I’m sure are capable of not letting go of a balloon. Just do what you want to do. Good luck.

What if you tied down the balloons with weights? Then there is no possibility of them being released? I'm also considering these lit up balloons!!

Yes I am considering this and having the balloons blown up beforehand not with helium and the light turned on inside then attaching the balloon to a balloon stick and putting them inside a black garbage bag to disguise them during the ceremony/reception. This way they are ready to go and won’t be let go into the air. The guests hold the lit up balloon sticks above us as we exit.
